Background

Lewis Greathead is a professional martial artist from Suffolk, England. Beginning karate in 2000, he earned his Black Belt at a young age. He was one of the youngest students in the U.K. to earn a 3rd Degree Black Belt in Freestyle Martial Arts.

After a few years of Karate training, Lewis decided to explore Kickboxing. He immediately fell in love with the competitive side of the sport and pushing himself to the limit. As a result, he won many National Championships with around 100 tournament fights across the UK and Europe.

After his vast experience in Karate and Kickboxing, Lewis began exploring a number of martial arts, weapon systems and combat sports. This evolution naturally evolved into his Freestyle Karate Syllabus that he now teaches his students at Greathead Martial Arts.

Lewis credits much of his martial arts achievement to his father and instructor, Paul Greathead, who helped Lewis train, compete and develop the self-belief that anything is possible with hard work and dedication.

In addition to being an experienced martial artist and teacher, Lewis is fully qualified as an Elite Personal Trainer and Nutritional Advisor. With this knowledge he helps clients meet their individual health and fitness goals.

Despite all his personal achievements and awards, his proudest achievement is seeing his students at Greathead Martial Arts grow in confidence, discipline and self-belief. Through this he believes we can make the world a better place for everyone.
